NFT exchange platform Beyondlife.club announced on Thursday, October 28 a new digital wallet to facilitate the auctioning of Amitabh Bachchan’s upcoming NFT collection. The Bollywood actor is set to release his NFT series on the platform as he prepares to foray into the crypto space. Encrypted by blockchain technology, NFTs are virtual collectibles that can be purchased using cryptocurrencies. Bachchan’s NFT series, due to debut in November, will feature elements inspired by his identity and his work.
New Bachchan-exclusive drop wallet will support several forms of transaction gateways such as debit cards, credit cards as well as cryptocurrencies. The platform is compatible with Ethereum and Polygon networks for the NFT keystroke process.
The objective of launching this declining portfolio, as per the company’s statement, is to make TVN-simple purchase for Bachchan fans, both crypto and non-crypto.
The NFT trading platform also announced a “Loot Box” for Lead Actor’s NFTs. Buyers of this “Loot Box” will receive rare NFT gifts as well as a chance to get vintage artwork and posters from film actor Coolie.
Amid the rapid global expansion of the crypto space, Bachchan, at the age of 79, is apparently ready to experiment with crypto-currencies.
Earlier in October, Bachchan agreed to be the brand ambassador for Indian crypto exchange CoinDCX. He chose to work on cryptocurrency awareness in India through his influence, CoinDCX had noted at the time.
After the veteran actor, several other celebrities from B-town have taken their first steps in the crypto space.
Recently the Indian fashion designer Manish malhotra launched a series of five NFTs featuring tailoring sketches he designed for Bollywood actresses. The collection was sold within minutes of its launch, WazirX said.
bollywood star Salman khan also announced the launch of its own collection of NFT which will be available on BollyCoin – a new dedicated Bollywood-themed NFT platform.
Actress Sunny Leone also would have invested in September, becoming the first Bollywood actress to have done so.
In fact, the NFT Colexion trading platform recently signed Indian artists including Sunil Shetty, Aamir Ali, Mika Singh and Sidhu Moosewala to be part of its market.
In addition to Indian celebrities, several foreign artists including the rapper Snoop dogg and American TV show host Steve Harvey have already jumped into NFTs. And the trend is catching up with Indian celebrities as well.
